Official Notice for MOFCOM Scholarship in Year 2019
To further promote Capacity Building and Culture Exchanges between China and Egypt, the Ministryof Commerce of China will provide MOFCOM Scholarship to qualified applicants from Egypt to help them pursue Master or Doctoral degree in China in 2019. Thetuition fees, living expenses and international travel expenses will be coveredby Chinese government for qualified applicants.
MOFCOM Scholarship consist two types:
One is the Direct Enrollment Program of Chinese universities, including 38 programs from 33 universities;
The other one is the Special Planned Program recruited through China Scholarship Council (CSC),including 328 programs from 26 universities.
Applicants can only choose one program to apply. Applicants who choose the Direct Enrollment Program may select 1 major in 1 universality from the optional 33 universities. Applicants who choose the Special Planned Program may select 1 major from nomore than 3 universities from the optional 26 universities. The most qualified applicants will be admitted.
All applicants arerequired to read the Program Introduction carefully, prepare the application material in strict accordance with its requirements, finish the online application or fill in the university application form and complete all theapplication procedure.The hard copy and scanned copy of all the application materials should be submitted to the Economic and Commercial Counselor's Office of the Chinese Embassy in Cairo (which the address is 22 Bahgat Aly Street, Zamalek, Cairo).
The closing date to submit application for the 328 Special Planned Programs is 31st May, 2019 (both online and offline). The closing date to submit application for the 38 Direct Enrollment Programs is 20th June, 2019.
We are responsible for evaluating applicants, arranging interviews, and issuing the recommendation letter for qualified applicants after the interview to supportother follow-up procedures.
The universities will send the admission results to Chinese Embassy after their final evaluation for the applicants, Chinese Embassy will notify the admitted applicants as soon as the admission notification was received.
